Stop blowing my mind, you modern philosopher! Honestly, this was incredibly deep. It takes serious skill to put thoughts like that into words. You have a rare talent, never give up!!!!!
I love this. Thank you for the reminder to write āš¼ because I like to write, not to perform and grab for attention. āŗļøA very relatable post. š¤
Writing for the machine is exhausting, and it kills the very soul of expression. As you wrote, we should use writing to heal ourselves rather than feed the algorithms. Great piece!
The line that resonated most with me wasn't about words losing their magic it was about resisting the temptation to write for the system instead of for life.
I write because I love to write, and I share what I write because it feels alive when others read it. If I wrote for Substack itself, I would be disappointed ā and I would disappoint my readers too.
Substack is not my purpose; it is only the stage. The purpose is the writing itself, the dialogue, the coācreation. When I publish, I am not serving a platform, I am serving the rhythm of thought and the people who find meaning in it.
Thatās why I believe: write for the joy, write for the cosmos, write for the children of the universe. Platforms come and go, but the words remain.
I love how you connected words to living! I'm so grateful that writing is something we get to do. It's a way we hold and carry life. We are definitely awesome! Thank you for sharing your words.
Not writing (or posting) for the algorithm is my own personal form of rebellion. It may keep me from ever reaching 200 subscribers, but itās authentic.
Both.
